Holiday Shipping Deadlines Are Coming: Order Your Handmade Gifts Early
Every year the same thing happens: somebody orders the perfect gift on December 20th and spends the next five days refreshing a tracking page and hoping. Here is the calm version, from our Long Island home kitchen.
Carriers get slower every week of December, not faster. If your gifts need to cross the country, early December is your sweet spot for standard shipping. Closer destinations give you more room, but weather and volume can still surprise you, so build in a buffer either way.
Three rules we pack by:
- Order early and let the gift sit in your closet, wrapped and done, instead of sweating at the checkout line.
- Keep your list in one order when you can, because one box ships simpler than five.
- Pick a gift that travels well. Jars of Smoked Chili and Garlic Herb salt, artisan soap bars, and boxes of Four Fruit Thumbprint cookies all ship beautifully and arrive looking like you planned this months ago.
One hundred percent of our proceeds support the Self-Sustaining Regenerative Agricultural Training Center we are building, so every early order also feeds the mission.
